Jimmy Guthrie
Owner
Jimmy attended Wofford College
then transferred to the University of North Carolina -
Chapel Hill. He graduated with a BS in Business
Administration in 1977. Jimmy has worked in all areas of the
dealership and received training at General Motors Institute
in Flint, Michigan in 1982. He became dealer principal
of Superior Motors, Inc in 1991. Jimmy was awarded a Honda
Automobile franchise in 1991 and opened Superior Honda
at 282 John C Calhoun Drive in Orangeburg. He was awarded
the Kia franchise in 2009 and opened Superior Kia in 2010.
His other business interests have included White House
Motors, Western Sizzlin' Steak House, commercial rental
property and timberland.
George Moore
Sales Manager
George has been a part of the
Superior Automotive Group since 2006. He is a native
of Orangeburg and also a five year veteran of the US Army.
He spent time overseas in Bosnia during deployment. He
loves to spend time with his wife and children. His
favorite sports are boxing and football.
Darold Wilson
Finance Manager
Attended SC State University and
is a member of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. He was
born in the Big Apple and moved south after completed high
school. He has been in the car business since 2006.
Prior to this, he worked as a souix chef. Darold
joined the team in October of 2011.
Bobo Smith
Service Manager
Faye Connelly
Office Manager
Faye joined Superior in
March of 2011. She has worked in the medical field and
office management environment for 35 years.
David Cowan
Internet Sales
David grew up in Greenwood, SC and
graduated from Greenwood High School. He is a graduate
of the Citadel and has been in the automotive industry since
2006 and joined the Superior team in 2011. He is
married with one daughter.
Jackie Jamison
Sales Consultant
Jackie has worked for the Superior Automotive Group since
2009. She enjoys her job and likes meeting people.
Mack Staley
Sales Consultant
Mack lives in Bamberg, SC and has
been in the car business for 12 years. He joined the
Superior team in 2012. He is an avid golfer, enjoys
spending time with his family and attends Riverfork church
in Bamberg.
Amanda Brooks
Cashier/Receptionist
Amanda joined the Superior team in
2011.
