2023 Kia EV6

The 2023 EV6 comes in five trim levels: Wind (RWD), Wind (a-AWD), GT-Line (RWD), GT-Line (e-AWD), and GT (e-AWD). It looks similar to a sports car, and it has a sculpted hood, angular headlights, sculpted sides, a narrow grille, and a slightly larger lower grille. Standard features include automatic high beams, tinted glass, 19-inch wheels, 6.1 inches of ground clearance, heated power-folding side mirrors with turn signals, a power tailgate, and a sound-absorbing windshield. You'll also get rain-sensing windshield wipers, daytime running lights, and a rear spoiler. You can add 20- or 21-inch wheels, a power sunroof, and summer tires. Available colors include Runway Red, Glacier, Interstellar Gray, Steel Gray, Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Steel Matte Gray, Gravity Blue, and Yacht Blue.

The EV6's electric motor generates 225 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and it has a one-speed automatic transmission. The lithium-ion battery can store 77.4 kilowatt-hours of energy, and all-wheel drive is available. The Wind (e-AWD) and GT-Line (e-AWD) trims give 320 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque, and the GT (e-AWD) produces 576 horsepower and 545 pound-feet of torque.

The responsive power steering is great for driving through traffic or crowded parking lots, and the rotary gear shifter is easy to use. The independent suspension provides a smooth, comfortable ride. With rear-wheel drive, this vehicle can go up to 310 miles with one charge. A DC fast charger can fill the battery in just 73 minutes. With the GT, the EV6 can reach 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. You can choose Eco, Sport, Normal, or Snow driving modes.

Interior features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 14-speaker Meridian audio system with an amplifier and a subwoofer. You'll also get cruise, phone, and audio controls on the steering wheel, wireless charging, push-button start, remote start, keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Eight-way power driver and passenger seats with lumbar settings, memory settings for the side mirrors and driver's seat, heated and cooled front seats, and folding rear seats are standard as well. The 12.3-inch dual panoramic display gives a total of 24 inches of screen space, and a blue light filter helps reduce eye strain. With the GT-Line and GT trims, you'll get a head-up display, accent lights in multiple colors, and a universal garage door opener. You can add leather or suede seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel.

A range of safety features protect you and your passengers. Forward collision avoidance, cyclist and pedestrian detection, blind spot collision avoidance, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, driver attention warning, and lane-keeping assistance are standard. You can choose steering assistance, blind spot monitoring, and a camera system with several viewing modes.
