People say perfection doesn’t exist, but the 2025 Kia Carnival might just be the perfect family minivan. Offering boatloads of privacy, entertainment options, and safety features, it’s great for transporting large loads and taking fun family road trips with minimal discomfort or boredom.

1. It’s Cool, Private, and Quiet
The Carnival has solar control windshield glass to prevent hot air from building up in the car, and the top three trims have this glass in the front doors, too. The windshield glass also absorbs sound, keeping away the road noise that threatens to disturb peaceful journeys. The front door glass in the top three trims does this, too, and sound-absorbing rear door glass is optional on the top trim.
Finally, you’ll have plenty of privacy on every trip. All trims feature privacy glass that lets you relax while knowing the outside world can’t see in.
2. It Can Carry Lots of People and Cargo
All eight passengers have got plenty of space to stretch out in the Kia Carnival. The front row has 41.1 inches of legroom and 40.9 inches of headroom. The second row has 40.5 inches of legroom and 39.5 inches of room for your head. The third row gives passengers 35.6 inches of legroom and 38.6 inches of headroom, so there’s no leg-crushing or head-bumping in this vehicle. Models with a sunroof have 1-2 inches less headroom in each row.
The cargo area is 40.2 inches in size, holding up to 14 carry-on suitcases. You can expand this to 145.1 cubic feet in size if you need to, giving you space to carry up to 48 carry-on suitcases inside the minivan.
3. It Can Help Keep Kids Entertained
Kids should be nicely entertained in the Carnival if you get a vehicle with the optional Rear Seat Entertainment System. This places a pair of large screens in the back. Rear-seat passengers can then stream content on these screens, and the screens can mirror any compatible smartphone or tablet, allowing you to choose media for your children to watch and let it appear on the screens while you play it on your phone.
4. It Has Lots of Standard Infotainment Technology
Every Carnival has a 12.3-inch infotainment screen loaded with standard features. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard, as is a Wi-Fi hotspot, so you can stay online and access lots of media to keep you entertained. You can also make calls and hear your texts read out via the car’s infotainment system when your smartphone is connected to it.
