You’ll learn the intricate science behind how everyday objects such as televisions or kitchen appliances work. There’s also plenty to discover about the lives and studies of local South Carolina scientists such as Dr. Charles Townes.

While the museum has plenty for adults to appreciate, there are also some sections that are geared more towards the youngsters. Children of all ages will love the Stringer Discovery Center, which is both fun and educational. Exhibits like the Imagination Playground let kids get hands-on with their learning, while the Reading Station is a great place for a family to enjoy a book together.
