Trim Levels of the 2025 Kia Carnival

Good-looking and incredibly practical, the 2025 Kia Carnival is the best minivan for active families. Each of its five trim levels is packed with comfort and convenience features you and your loved ones will love.

LX

Perfect for growing families, the LX trim comes with seats for seven and includes sliding and removable second-row seats that make it easy to transform the cabin into a cargo transport platform. Under the hood is a 3.5L V6 Lambda engine that makes 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, which is more than enough for most purposes and plenty of power for towing up to 3,500 pounds.

LXS

Designed with big families in mind, the LXS takes all the amazing features of the base trim and makes them better with seats for up to eight people. This model also has an upgraded driver’s seat with 10-way power adjustments, including four lumbar support adjustments, so you can easily customize comfort.

The EX has the same interior layout as the LXS and comes with tech upgrades. A highlight is the in-cabin communication system with Passenger View and Passenger Talk. Passenger View allows you to check images of the rear rows on the infotainment center touchscreen, which means you can easily keep an eye on your kids or pets.

Passenger Talk uses microphones and the vehicle’s speakers for easier communication with the rear rows. A smart power tailgate provides easy access to the cargo area, while a wireless charging pad allows you to keep your phone charged.

SX

If you want to keep your passengers entertained during long trips, the SX trim is right for you. This model’s main upgrade is the Connected Car Rear Cockpit with a 14.6-inch dual-screen rear entertainment system. The front infotainment comes with its own upgrades, including a curved panoramic display with digital gauges and an integrated 12.3-inch center touchscreen.

LED projector fog lamps improve visibility in adverse driving conditions, and this trim also comes with Kia’s Digital Key 2.0 and smart cruise control with machine learning.

SX Prestige

The SX Prestige is packed with luxuries, such as leather-trimmed seats and a heated steering wheel. A full display rearview mirror with HomeLink minimizes blind spots and allows you to operate the garage door from inside the vehicle. Kia also equips this model with a premium Bose audio system and an 11-inch heads-up display.
