1. LX

Like the majority of the K4 lineup, the base LX trim is powered by a 147-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Every model also boasts a long, sleek profile and a stunning body, with the LX featuring a sharp black grille, 16-inch steel wheels, automatic multi-reflector LED headlamps, and stylish amber LED daytime running lamps.

The plush black and gray TriCot cloth-lined interior is illuminated by LED lighting. A four-inch instrument cluster relays important vehicle data to drivers. Infotainment comes courtesy of a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone compatibility and a four-speaker sound system. Kia equips its entry-level trim with a good range of driver-assist technologies, including forward collision avoidance with pedestrian and junction turning detection, a rearview monitor, and smart cruise control.

2. LXS

Building on the LX, the LXS introduces more desirable elements, such as alloy wheels and dual-zone climate control. Safety is further enhanced with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

3. EX

The EX ups-the-ante with premium features, such as black 17-inch machined wheels and a gloss-black grille. A leatherette-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel elevate the luxury inside. The dash now boasts a larger 12.3-inch instrument panel and a separate five-inch display for the climate control.

4. GT-Line

Next is the GT-Line which receives a sporty makeover from a redesigned grille, 18-inch wheels, and satin, chrome, and gloss-black accents. LED turn signals are now integrated into the side mirrors.

The sporty theme continues inside with paddle shifters mounted on the sport steering wheel. A comfort upgrade sees front passengers enjoying heated seats, with the driver’s becoming 10-way power-adjustable with two-way power lumbar. Navigation is now integrated into the infotainment system and another safety upgrade gives you navigation-based cruise control and highway driving assist.

5. GT-Line Turbo

Heading the K4 range is the GT-Line Turbo, which receives a power boost from a 190-horsepower 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. A lighting upgrade introduces small cube LED projector headlamps at the front and full LED combination taillamps at the rear. A wide sunroof lets fresh air and sunlight into the synthetic leather-lined interior. Sound quality is enhanced thanks to the new Harman Kardon eight-speaker audio system.
