Trim Levels of the 2025 Kia Sorento

Whether you’re taking the kids to practice or exploring together off-road, the 2025 Kia Sorento is the ideal three-row SUV for all your adventures.

1. LX

The entry-level LX comes with three rows of comfortable seating for seven, including sliding and folding second-row bench seats. Under the hood, the LX has a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 191 horsepower, with EPA-estimated efficiency of 26 MPG combined.  

The LX’s tech includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen display that connects to compatible smartphones with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also protects passengers with nine standard airbags and a comprehensive list of advanced safety technologies, like Blind-Spot Collision Warning, which helps you avoid unsafe lane changes.  

2. S

The S comes with plenty of style and comfort upgrades, including 18-inch Gloss Black and machined finish alloy wheels, SynTex seat trim, and heated front seats. It also adds a wireless phone charger, plus a Wi-Fi hotspot and built-in navigation. Aside from the X-Line and X-Pro trims, the S is the only trim with available Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive.

3. EX

The six-passenger EX comes with second-row captain’s chairs and 20-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels. It gets 281 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque from a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, which can tow up to 3,500 pounds. You can even load and unload the EX’s cargo area hands-free, thanks to a Smart Power Liftgate that opens when you stand behind it with your Smart Key.

4. SX

The SX offers the ultimate in technology and comfort, featuring ventilated front seats and Digital Key 2.0, which lets you use your smartphone in place of a physical key fob. It comes with even more driver assistance technologies, like a Surround View Monitor that assists with parking by displaying a 360-degree view of your Sorento’s surroundings.

5. X-Line EX

Adding to the EX’s standard features, the X-Line EX comes with Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive, an increased 8.2 inches of ground clearance, and high-utility roof rails. It has 20-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels, plus a panoramic sunroof to let in more light for the front and rear passengers.

6. X-Line SX

The X-Line SX combines the SX’s premium features with the extra off-road capability and styling found on the X-Line EX.

7. X-Line SX Prestige

This model is the pinnacle of Sorento luxury, adding perforated leather seat trim, a 12-speaker Bose Premium Audio System, and heated second-row seats to the X-Line SX’s standard features. This model also has a 115V power inverter outlet in the cargo area, plus more parking assistance features.

8. X-Pro SX Prestige

The X-Pro SX Prestige is the most capable Sorento, with 17-inch Matte Black alloy wheels and all-terrain tires. It also increases its towing capacity to 4,500 pounds.
