There are seven different trim levels to choose from for the 2018 Kia Sorento, which means there are a ton of options available. Let us help you decipher between the different choices you have.2018 Kia Sorento

Kia Sorento L

The Kia Sorento L is the base trim level. It has the lowest MSRP but still offers all of the features of the 2018 Kia Sorento that you’re sure to love. It comes standard with a 2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve I-4 engine that produces 185 horsepower. It has excellent gas mileage giving you 21 miles per gallon city, 28 highway, and a combined EPA of 24 miles per gallon.

Kia Sorento LX

The Sorento LX has all of the features of the Sorento L while giving you a few more options. While the Sorento L only has three color options, the LX allows you to choose from eight different colors for the exterior and two for the interior seating. In addition to that, the Kia Sorento LX allows you to add a third row to seat up to seven people, an option unavailable with the Sorento L.

Kia Sorento LX V-6

The Sorento LX V-6 gives you all of the options of a Sorento LX with a more powerful engine. Under the hood, you’ll get a 3.3-liter DOHC 24-valve V-6. This gives you 290 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque.

Kia Sorento EX 2.0T

The Sorento EX 2.0T is the only trim level that offers you a 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve 1-4 engine with turbocharger. If you want some power, you’ll enjoy the 240 horsepower and the 260 pound-feet of torque. The EX models also come standard with a gloss-black front grille and silver lower bumper accents for additional exterior style.

Kia Sorento EX V-6

The Sorento EX V-6 has the same available options at the EX 2.0T with a different engine. Under the hood of the EX V-6 is the same engine that you find in the LX V-6. For exterior style and power under the hood, the EX V-6 is a fantastic option.

Kia Sorento SX

The Sorento SX combines luxury and power. It has the V-6 engine under its hood, which gives you plenty of horsepower. It comes standard with a dark metallic front grille, reverse tilt-down side mirrors, a panoramic sunroof with power sunshade, and automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers.

With the Sorento SX model, you can choose between all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. It comes standard with seven seats, and you can choose from six exterior colors and three interior colors.

Kia Sorento SX Limited

The most luxurious trim level in the lineup, the SX Limited has all of the options that come standard with the Sorento SX with even more accessories and technology onboard.

It’s the only trim level that comes standard with high-intensity discharge projector beam headlights that auto-level to ensure you can always see the road ahead. It’s the only trim level that offers LED front fog lights and 19-inch chrome alloy wheels.
