The 2024 Niro EV has two trim levels. Both trims have a permanent magnet synchronous motor that can produce 201 horsepower and a 358-volt lithium-ion polymer battery. The Wind trim has a dual-level cargo floor, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, a heated windshield, a heated rear defroster, and ambient lighting.
This trim comes with Kia Drive Wise technology such as blind-spot collision warning with parallel exit, forward collision avoidance with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection, rear cross-traffic avoidance, highway driving assist, and driver attention warning. Key exterior features include 17-inch Aero alloy wheels, projector beam headlights, roof rails, LED taillights, and high beam assist.
Wave
Standard trims for the Wave trim include heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a power sunroof, and LED ambient interior lighting. The Wave trim comes with a seven-speaker premium audio system, a 10.15-inch instrument display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with integrated navigation, and remote start. Other standard features are LED fog lights, LED projector headlights, and a smart power tailgate.
The Wave trim also has an exclusive two-tone color option of Snow White Pearl with Gray Aeroblade. The interior trim colors for this trim are perforated SynTex in Charcoal or Gray/Charcoal. This trim also has standard safety technology such as front and rear park distance warning, remote start parking assist, parking collision avoidance assist, and safe exit warning.
