The Kia Forte comes in three available trims: LX, S, and EX. The LX and S come with a 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve Atkinson cycle engine with Multi Point Injection, while the EX comes with a 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve engine with Gasoline Direct Injection. Both engine types feature Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT) for increased power and efficiency.
Performance
The LX is offered with a six-speed manual transmission that gets 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway, while the optional six-speed automatic transmission reaches 29 mpg city and 38 mpg highway. The LX features 15-inch steel wheels, the S comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, and the EX rounds out the list with 17-inch alloy wheels. Performance-wise, all come standard with heated outside mirrors, variable intermittent windshield wipers, solar control glass, a tire mobility kit, and projector beam headlights.
Interior Comforts
