Kia has always appealed to drivers who want to stand out from the masses, and this is reflected in the newest Soul’s color options. You can choose between an exterior painted with light Steel Gray, darker Gravity Gray, Snow White Pearl, Fusion Black, or our favorites: Inferno Red and Mars Orange. The wheels are 16 inches in diameter and made of steel with size 205/60 R16 tires.
The base model LX comes with Auto Headlight Control and Multi Reflector Headlights. The Auto Headlight Control system allows the headlights to dim or brighten on their own depending on the environment’s lighting conditions. The distinctive design of the 2024 Soul is a streamlined, modern-day version of what we know and love. The front grille is matte black with silver finishings, the door handles are body-colored, and the roof features rack mounting points and a shark-fin antenna.
Mechanical Capabilities
The Soul boasts a two-liter four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1,999 cc and a dual overhead cam valvetrain with 16 valves. This grants the Soul a horsepower of 147 at 6,200 RPM and 132 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 RPM. The Soul has an intelligent variable transmission with a Drive Mode Select that tweaks your SUV’s engine, transmission, and even the A/C system depending on which mode you choose.
New Technology
Cabin Tech
The rear window has heating capabilities for faster defrosting, and the interior rearview mirror has day and night modes for easier visibility. All Soul models come equipped with the Remote Keyless Entry system with a vehicle immobilizer. The cabin features a six-speaker surround-sound system, and you can play your phone’s audio through this system via the cabin’s integrated Apple and Android smartphone connectivity capabilities.
Safety Tech
All 2024 Soul models have an abundance of standard safety features as well as many available options you can choose to add on. Just a few of the standard features include the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist which has built-in Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection software, The Lane Following and Lane Keeping Assists, the Lane Departure Warning, and the Driver Attention Warning.
You can choose to add on any of the available safety features, such as the Lane Change Assist, the Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, and the Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance.
