The 615-yard 18th hole has been rated by the South Carolina Golf Course Ratings Panel as one of the most challenging closing holes in the Midlands.
Renovated by architect Richard Mandell in 2009, this facility boasts deep bunkers and lush fairways. The course also features a driving range and two putting greens alongside a two-acre short-range practice area. The Orangeburg Country Club has hosted special golf tournaments and events over the years, further emphasizing its longstanding legacy as an essential Midlands destination.
3. Calhoun Hills Golf Complex

This serene 18-hole course was masterfully designed by Ellis Maples and features hardwood trees throughout its gently rolling hills. Located at 128 Paw Paw Road in Bamberg, this course provides 18 holes of delight for golfers of all abilities. Originally opened in 1981 and designed by Russell Breeden, the course features many lakes, large undulating greens, and four sets of tees.
